of the sheet with full margins at right & base, No Monogram, some
very minor reinforcing, most units are unmounted. A rare block. Ex
Colonel Harrie Evans: sold for $2750 (2001).
Only the initial supply of the KGV 1d and Kangaroo 2½d were despatched to
Rabaul with the selvedge attached. Very few complete formes of either value
have survived. The margins from all other formes were removed in Melbourne. |
